Edit Employee Hours
The Edit Employee Hours feature enables administrators and account owners to effectively manage and adjust employee timeclock records. This includes the ability to delete incorrect entries, edit existing records, or add new timeclock entries. Whether you're fixing errors, updating categories like "Standard Pay" or "Overtime," or entering missing records, this tool provides a streamlined approach to ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance. By offering full control over time data, businesses can maintain precise employee hour tracking and reporting.
Prerequisites: Account owners and those with administrator access.
Instructions
- From the main Dashboard, click the Administration tab.
- You will enter the Administration Dashboard.
- Click on Payroll.
- Click Payroll Report to enter the Payroll Report page.
(Note: By default, only those staff who have completed hours in the selected Payroll period will be displayed.) - To view all staff, including Empty Records, click the blue Edit/View All Employees button.
(Note: You will now see a new blue Hide Empty Records button in the top right. Click this to return to only those records with hours worked.)
- Click on the blue Hamburger Menu Icon to the left of the name of the employee you wish to make edits to.
- You will be directed to the Timeclock Report page.
- Here you can perform numerous actions including Delete, Edit and Add a record.
- To delete a Timeclock record, click the red Trash Icon on the left of the record.
9.1 You will be asked to confirm the deletion. Click the purple Confirm button to delete - To edit a Timeclock record, click the blue edit icon on the left of the record.
10.1 You will see the Edit Time Log popup.
10.2 Here you can change the clock-in and clock-out date and time. You can also change the Timeclock Category, by clicking in the field to reveal the dropdown.
10.3 Once complete, click Save. - To add a Timeclock record, click the blue Add Record button on the bottom right.
11.1 You will see the Add Time Entry popup.
11.2 Here you can add a clock-in and clock-out date and time. You can also choose the Timeclock Category, by clicking in the field to reveal the dropdown.
11.3 Once complete, click Save. You will now be returned to the Timeclock Report page, where you will see the added record.
