Edit Hold Reasons

 

This allows you to define specific reasons why a job or task might be placed on hold. This can include scenarios such as awaiting customer response, equipment issues, pending payment, or scheduling conflicts. By creating clear, customizable hold reasons, you provide transparency and streamline internal communications, ensuring that team members understand why a job is paused and what steps are needed to resume progress. Defining these reasons helps improve operational efficiency and keeps the workflow organized, especially when managing multiple ongoing projects or tasks.

 

 

Prerequisites: Account owners and those with administrator access.

 

 

Instructions

 

 

  1. After completing each stage of Step 2: Create Your Team during your onboarding with Suprata, you will see Step 3: Set up Your Job Workflow expand on the welcome banner. Alternatively, you can click on the tab to expand it.





  2. In Step 3: Set up Your Job Workflow, you will see the hyperlink: Edit Hold Reasons. Click here to enter the Manage Hold Reasons page.





  3. Click Add Hold Reasons to enter the New Hold Reasons page.





  4. Fill in the Hold Reason Field.



  5. Once complete and all details have been checked for accuracy click Save.



  6. The page should refresh and return you to the Manage Hold Reasons page where you will now see your added Hold Reason.





  7. To continue Company Setup, please click the link Continue Setup at the top of the page.
