Billing & Sales Report

 

The Billing & Sales Report provides a comprehensive overview of your organization's financial performance, including sales revenue, billed amounts, payments collected, outstanding balances, and profit margins. This report allows users to track key financial metrics, filter data by specific periods, and export records for further analysis or sharing. With its clear layout and filtering options, the Billing & Sales Report simplifies the process of monitoring financial health and making data-driven decisions.

 

 

Prerequisites: Authorised Users

 

 

Instructions

 

 

  1. From the main Dashboard, click the Reporting tab.





  2. Click Billing and Sales Report from the dropdown menu to enter the Billing and Sales Report page.





  3. Here you can review the billing and sales data in the table. Key columns include:

    Date: The reporting month and year for the data in each row.

    Cost of Goods: Displays the total cost of goods sold (COGS) for the corresponding period.

    Margin: Shows the profit margin percentage based on sales and cost of goods.

    Sales: Reflects the total revenue generated from sales during the specified period.

    Billed: Represents the total amount invoiced to customers for the corresponding period.

    Tax: Displays the total tax amount billed for the period.

    Amt Paid: Indicates the total amount collected from customers as payments during the period.

    Amt Due: Shows the total outstanding balance still owed by customers for the period.



  4. To locate specific billing or sales data, use the Search field in the top-right corner. Enter keywords such as dates, amounts, or other relevant terms to quickly filter the results.



  5. Adjust the Reporting Period by selecting a start and end date in the date fields at the top of the page. Alternatively, use the Today, This Month, Year to Date, or All Time buttons to filter the records quickly.



  6. You can Copy, Print, and export to PDF, Excel and CSV by clicking on the blue buttons at the bottom of the page.
