Editing or Deleting Items from Estimate

 

The Editing or Deleting Items from an Estimate feature allows users to make adjustments to existing estimates, ensuring accuracy and customization based on client needs. Whether adding new items, updating existing details, or removing outdated entries, this process provides flexibility to refine estimates even after initial creation. To maintain control, editing is only available after unlocking the estimate, which ensures that modifications are authorized and tracked. By enabling these updates, this feature supports streamlined workflows and ensures that estimates remain accurate and professional throughout the approval process.

 

 

Prerequisites: Authorised Users.



Instructions

 

 

  1. If the Estimate is locked, first an Administrative user will need to unlock it by clicking the Estimate Actions button in the top right of the page, followed by clicking Unlock Estimate.






  2. Once unlocked, the Estimate page will return to an editable state with all functions available.





  3. You are able to add items as laid out in Creating Estimates Link (Coming soon)



  4. To delete or edit any items already on the estimate, locate the item you wish to edit and click on the item in the Product/Service column to reveal the dropdown menu, Edit, Discount or Delete.





  5. Once all required actions are performed, you may lock the invoice. Please see Creating Estimates for full instructions.
