Introduction to Inventory

  The Inventory section provides comprehensive tools for managing your company’s stock and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Within this module, you can add and manage inventory items, track current stock levels, and perform adjustments to maintain accurate records. Additionally, the system supports automatic reordering or notifications to help prevent stockouts and keep operations running smoothly. This organized approach allows for effective inventory oversight, ensuring that your resources are always aligned with business needs and workflow demands.     Prerequisites: Authorised Users.          

Adding and Managing Inventory Items

  This allows you to input new inventory items into your system and oversee their details, such as item names, SKUs, and quantities. This functionality ensures that your stock records remain accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, you can make inventory adjustments as needed to reflect changes in stock levels due to incoming shipments, usage, or corrections, maintaining precise inventory management and supporting seamless business operations.     Prerequisites: Authorised Users.     Instructions     From the main Dashboard, click the Inventory tab.

Tracking Inventory Levels

  Tracking inventory levels is crucial for ensuring that your operations run smoothly and that stock levels are maintained. This feature allows you to view and monitor the quantities of items stored across different warehouse locations. The system provides a detailed overview, including item SKUs, product names, and current quantities, making it simple to keep tabs on your stock at a glance. Inventory audits and adjustment histories are also accessible, enabling you to review changes made to stock levels and identify trends over time. Adding a SKU

  This section allows you to create a new stock-keeping unit (SKU) for products or services in your inventory. Here, you can specify key details, such as the product name, manufacturer, model, and price, as well as more descriptive information like the product's dimensions, weight, and tax categories. Additionally, you can upload an image for visual reference, assign a vendor, and define custom attributes like UPC and vendor SKU numbers. Additionally, you have the option to set whether this warehouse can be used to fulfil stock requirements for other inventories, streamlining inventory transfers and stock management.
